Angela Wright at Hollywood Film Festival October, 2011
Angela Wright will screen at the Hollywood Film Festival on October 23rd, at the Arclight Theatre. Gavin composed music for the short drama, directed by Mu Sun (The Watch), written by and starring Genevieve Farrell. Click here for the official site.
Orchestrations for "Flashback" August, 2011
The feature film Flashback is now complete. Gavin orchestrated for the score, which features original music by George Shaw (Purity, J-OK'EL). As the film takes place on a futuristic movie lot, the score incorporates homages to many of Hollywood's greatest film composers, from Bernard Herrmann to John Williams to Danny Elfman. "Rett" Screening at Visionfest June, 2011
The feature documentary Rett, with music by Gavin Keese, will screen on June 23rd at the Visionfest fesvital in NYC. The film tells the story of three families whose daughters are afflicted by Rett Syndrome, as well as the scientists who are striving to cure the disorder. Rett was produced and directed by award-winning filmmaker Jason Rem, in hopes of raising awareness and accelerating the search for a cure. Click here for more info.
Gavin Scores "Unchained" June, 2011
Gavin recently completed the score for Unchained, a Steampunk adventure game for XBox. The music featured a blend of Irish, Middle-Eastern, and orchestral styles. Unchained was featured in the 2011 First Look Interactive Festival at the DGA theatre in Hollywood. Click here for more info!
